Exfoliating is an essential part of skincare that we often push aside. Exfoliation prevents dry skin, in-grown hairs, and all around makes your skin have a healthy glow. This really nourishing body scrub is super easy to make, and it smells as good as it looks! The dead sea salt removes dead skin cells while the essential oils nourish and soften your skin. I got the recipe for this body scrub here, from the blog Don’t Mess with Mama, but I changed it up a bit. I used pure dead sea salt, fresh rosemary, fresh mint, organic lavender oil, and a nourishing Vitamin E blend from Nature’s Gate.
So, all you do is mix together 1 cup of dead sea salt, a handful of fresh rosemary chopped, and a handful of fresh mint chopped.
After mixing these, add about 5-10 drops of lavender, and 5-10 drops of the Vitamin E blend.
Mix it all together and that’s it!
You can keep this scrub fresh by leaving it in an air-tight container, like a mason jar and sticking it in the fridge! You can also switch it up by using raw sugar, or Pink Himalayan salt, along with your favorite essential oils.
